  • We were already here for the second time. This time during the Carter days. Beautiful plant with beautiful buildings. Even a small shop in the middle of the village.

  • It's a small village of ancient farm houses that were removed from their original location and rebuild and assembled here. Gives a very good insight into the live in past times

  • fantastic collection of local historic buildings, all from nearby and reassembled again onsite. one of the houses was re-build from scratch, brand new but with oldstyle tools and methods, which first had to be relearned. the construction is well documented and very interesting indeed. a must see for anyone who wants to learn more about the life of the common people of the area.

  • So far I've visited the open-air museum only for the Kirbe, but on this day, you get something real. Everything is very authentic and well preserved. All important buildings and occupations of rural life are depicted.

  • A very nice Museum. Very spacious with farms from different eras. You can enter most buildings to what has been a lot of fun especially the children. In addition, there are animals and demonstrations.

  • Very nice Museum. On an ordinary Friday unfortunately just not go. Gamble a Fleyer to any screenings and employees are very sparse.
