  • Small but fine... visited several open air museums, but this is really interesting, especially not as crowded as some others, and there's even free parking :-)))

  • Beautiful museum that recreates the German venues and ways of life in the countryside in the late 1800s. Great job of reconstruction of environments, very accurate and detailed. There is plenty to see, from rags to houses, from school to the shops. Really nice. The only criticism I have is the total absence of explanatory signs and signs written in English, it's all written exclusively in German, too bad!

  • Advance: Scenic beautifully situated. When setting up the houses much more attention to detail was possible, only very rudimentary furnishings. Open-air museum is relatively small, half a day is more than enough for the Besuch.Hunde are allowed on the premises, but not in the houses, which is absolutely fine. But there are no houses to bind devices! The toilet facilities in the middle of the grounds is an absolute break in style. Food and service in the Guest House just enough (burnt chips, operating on the fence due to visitors)

  • fantastic collection of local historic buildings, all from nearby and reassembled again onsite. one of the houses was re-build from scratch, brand new but with oldstyle tools and methods, which first had to be relearned. the construction is well documented and very interesting indeed. a must see for anyone who wants to learn more about the life of the common people of the area.
  • M A G N I F I Q U E !!!
  • A local history museum with many original farms and village craftsmen. show demonstrations mill with water power operated with very good explanation, sawmill as well, blacksmiths, rope-making, Shepherd with sheep shearing, school, store, and restaurant. Nice show days is served with local specialties from the wood-fired oven, dairymaid producing cheese in a black original kitchen. All very natural nothing to set up and it is all a pleasure. Plenty of parking, good to now reach a bypass of Tuttlingen.

  • nicely done, beautiful scenery, but relatively small houses are little information about the exhibited objects, furnished only rudimentary, disappointing in comparison to other open-air museums. Toilets in the middle of the grounds represent an ugly rupture in style, it should not be. Food and service in the restaurant nearly enough.
