A Roman amphitheater built in Rome's German province, Amphitheater is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes St. Peter's Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady in Trier. The amphitheater's center ring with stone walls is completely excavated. Pay small entrance fee to you can walk into the center and play the part of a gladiator. The seating is still covered with earth and grass, so consider bringing a picnic lunch to enjoy just outside of the ring.   • What Theatre in Germany can say that? Fights between animals and humans took place here, the people had its entertainment and amusement. Horrible? Also our today's talks are not much better! It's a pity that the theatre in the Middle Ages was used as a quarry, otherwise the impression it would be even more great. A special feature: The Amphitheatre was also city gate.

  • You see everything for you: the Gladiator, the wildlife, the delirious mensenmenichte in the stands. You can imagine yourself in another world.

  • A must-go for tourists. Its quite large. Worth a visit even without a tour guide, as there's information available on-site.
  • Yet one more attraction I couldn't go to. It closed at 1600

  • Interesting place. Unfortunately, I had a chance to look at the offered show. You can move relatively freely on the whole area and look at everything. The tour gives a good insight.
