  • Was there in 2008. In view of the age, everything is current. Visit, sit on the modify and move a few thousand years back in time!

  • Very nice to visit, can be well maintained. The information folder you get is definitely worth watching. Here and there some extra information in the form of a story would not be wrong.

  • Roman Amphitheater in Trier. The acoustics were amazing in this two thousand year old structure...a normal conversation could be easily heard from the other side. Any special musical event here would certainly be a treat!
  • Incredible to see such ancient ruins up close and personal. If you're there at the right time you can see a teacher instructing students in the styles of gladiatorial combat!
  • You wouldn't expect this in a city, so that was a surprise. Very nice place, lots of history and lots to learn. Educational. Great for kids. No tours, you can just walk around. Very photogenic place and impressive landmark.
  • Fascinating old Roman theater with great acoustics and a profound echo. The theater, the seats and the basement are quite large & empty but they can make for an interesting walk.
  • A must see! So much to see and you definitely need to go here!
