(3.5/5 based on 1,000+ reviews on the web)
Triberger Waterfall is one of the highest falls in Germany. Visit the cascade to watch it flow 163 m (535 ft) down from the mountains through the town of Triberg. You can follow along the Gutach River as its splits into multiple smaller tributaries, enjoying the hilly, forested countryside around you. Feel free to wander any of the three sign-posted trails. You also may enjoy a stop at the waterfall's small, namesake village. The falls are illuminated after dark. Parking is available in Triberg. • We went with the children: * a breath of fresh air pure * a beautiful forest * a plan to borrow the paths and loop * accessible downtown so convenient I recommend. Enjoy going to the addict branches by the way: naturhochseilgarten! On the other hand, do not buy peanuts: the ecuereuils do not come!

  • Took this trek with our 4,7,13, and 16 y/o with dog in tow. It was the perfect distance with beautiful views and vantage points for family pix. Bring water and or a small snack for the top to enjoy be...  more »
  • The waterfalls are more high of Germany, located in the town of Triberg, in the middle of the black forest. The area is very well defined for hiking. You pay an entry (I don't remember the price, but it was cheap) and offer you if you want to buy bags of peanuts per 1 euro to give the squirrels (which is conspicuous by its absence). It is a pleasant walk in the Woods, but I really expected more.
