  • Very nice well maintained community. The castle is very beautiful, the view of the Rhine is stunning! The price is slightly expensive and unfortunately no guidance is offered.

  • Stopped here as part of a package tour. Our bus parked at the base of the castle. We walked up to the castle via a steep path of switchbacks that was flat and easy to climb. Some of the older folks ha...  more »
  • The path is steep, I'm severely handicapped, with severe hip osteoarthritis and severe pain. But I must say the way with walking stick has paid off. I was up in 20 minutes! I really want to be make it worthwhile other visitors who are not so good to walk, take courage. And the best, it gives confidence enormously and releases many hormones of happiness, when did it and yourself up in the excellent restaurant with exquisite cuisine. Absolutely recommendable. Soon, I will make the climb with walking stick, because the castle is an absolute must for anyone who appreciates well maintained ambient and romantic castle atmosphere with great views. Many thanks to the owners of the castle that you give us visitors the opportunity to visit your Castle and enjoy the stay. Although steep, but very well maintained is the way, if it is not good to walk, you should take more time for something, because the trail is a delight, the views of the Rhine is above beautiful with each step. The castle is very easy to reach with the ship, just get off and climb up to the Castle.

  • Very beautiful old castle. Well worth a visit.
  • My favorite castle on the Rhine river
  • Very cool castle and you can bring your dog to the inside of the museum.
  • If you go to Germany and are in the Rhein area this castle is a must see. I have been to many castles in Germany and this is by far my favorite. the staff is so friendly and you can wonder around the whole castle taking as many pics you want. the gift shop is super nice and I just have nothing bad to say about this castle. well I take that back...You have a long walk to get to it. but it so worth it
  • Worth the stop on the Rhein
