  • We spent a day driving up the Rhein, enjoying views of castles along the way. This one, situated across the river from the village of Assmannhausen where we were staying, is the only one that we visit...  more »
  • This is one of my favorite castles. Small picturesque romantic castle. It is lovely to visit in the spring when the flowers are in full bloom but nice anytime of year.
  • If you got here you can't see it. The castle is well preserved and has a fantastic view. Even the youngest will be pleasantly surprised. Average length of visit about 1:30 ', ticket 6 € approximately.

  • Very beautiful old castle. Well worth a visit.
  • My favorite castle on the Rhine river
  • Very cool castle and you can bring your dog to the inside of the museum.
  • If you go to Germany and are in the Rhein area this castle is a must see. I have been to many castles in Germany and this is by far my favorite. the staff is so friendly and you can wonder around the whole castle taking as many pics you want. the gift shop is super nice and I just have nothing bad to say about this castle. well I take that back...You have a long walk to get to it. but it so worth it
  • Worth the stop on the Rhein
