Wonderfull castle with an Amazing view over the Rhein
Wolfgang ApelThe Reichenstein Castle in Trechtingshausen is very well preserved. In addition to the very interesting sightseeing, you can stay there even, because it houses a very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant. A visit is highly recommended!show original
Prof. Dr. Dietmar VahsMiddle of May two nights on Castle Reichenstein: Nice, clean, stylishly renovated rooms overlooking the Rhine. Excellent restaurant. Extensive breakfast. Very friendly, attentive service from the first until the last minute. Overall, a hotel stay, which will be best remembered. Way to go!show original
Alex GroßAbsolutely TOP! We have made a trip to the castle with our children and were all really excited. The castle is great, with many ancient weapons, armour and other things from ancient times. The views from the top of the Rhine Valley is devastatingly beautiful, alone for it worth a visit. But also from the outside, the Reichenstein Castle is an imposing walls. The absolute highlight of the day was the visit to the castle restaurant Puricelli (after the former owner of the Castle)! The restaurant was reopened - how I've hear there - most recently by a new tenant. The food was really sensational. I have felt like in a 3-star restaurant, except for the number fortunately. For the high quality of the food is surprisingly good, the entrees are between 20 and 25 euros. In addition, there was a children's menu, from which my daughters were thrilled. Unfortunately, the associated hotel is not yet opened, but once it's done (probably at Easter), I will come back with my wife, to spend a romantic weekend in beautiful surroundings with great food and good wine. For that, this place is awesome!show original
