  • Upon arrival, beware, parking is good "side Moselle" - moderately -, and not at the back, as send you Google Maps... (lane very narrow and two-way!). Admission € 15 may be questionable - when you see in the average price of any expo - but announced €10 in our local newspaper mosellan... But for the right price on their website. So no surprise. Great collection, good development on different levels, statues and other representations are generally classified by country, with implementation soundscape. A quasi single criticism (outside the café to €2.30) and a little high price of "memories", even exclusive, it is the unique use of the language of Goethe. Not English, even less french, whatever works, documents submitted to the entry or various videos. It shows a slight feeling of frustration because otherwise all is very interesting.

  • I am a staunch Buddhist and very beautiful even in the possession of some statues. But what does this private museum here, is actually far too much only once and for a single visit. In the beautiful building with glass facade of part of and roof terrace with turrets, which are always successful architectural concords with the Moselle river bank before the door, statues from around the world have about 2000 found their home. There are a gazillion information in the form of films and information kits. Chairs to linger everywhere download - very well done. If one is aware, that this part well over 1000 years old exhibits all once were places where was intense praying and meditating, it is located in a temple full of sanctuaries. Their energy can escape nobody. Bottom line: Come back is a must. In the meantime, there is the possibility to prepare with the help of books and DVD from the well-stocked museum shop. Among them are also informative works which deal directly with this unique exhibition.

  • The Buddha Museum is interested an absolute must for any Buddhism. I've never before seen such a wide variety of different sizes, from different countries, Buddhas. The building was perfectly prepared for the exhibition and is itself also very worth seeing.

  • 2000 Buddhas in one museum. The roof garden is also a very nice place to lookout over the Mosel.
  • Very good for Buddhist students. Major exhibition with international exhibits which are very beautiful and graceful. However, the price and the fact that such a Museum is very special is the reason for the withdrawal.

  • Recommended. The size of the exhibition is overwhelming. You should bring plenty of time.

  • Absolutely worth seeing, great preserves Museum. Huge collection of Buddha statues of all sizes. From the smallest (not even a centimeter) to the largest (I'd say about 4 meters) there is everything. The building (an old winery) was restored with much attention to detail and the origin of the Buddhas pervades the entire Asian region. Thailand, Burma, India to name a few. If you like Buddha there must have been. Clear recommendation.

  • Inspirational, has a higher entrance fee than other museums, but if you're interested in Buddha/Buddhism then you've come to the right place. Of several Buddha currents here are exceptional Buddha images and explanations provided. On the roof is a wonderful "Buddha" garden with beautiful views over the Moselle river.
