  • We visited with a group of the border Museum. The guide was very informative and not too long. It was explained vividly the life in the former border area. On the whole site, many different vehicles are issued which largely can be explored. Here, history is tangible.

  • With friends, we were in the border country Museum. It was an impressive and interesting stay. In the summertime there are shady Sitzgelegeneheiten for a break.

  • The Museum is located on an area, which border was partly in the former GDR. The history and background to the border are very vividly shown in containers. In the outdoor area, helicopters, tanks, police vehicles, a former watch tower and parts of the border fence will be presented. An unfortunately unsuccessful escape attempt is very moving. When visiting the sick and inhuman system of the GDR is clear. This part of German history must never be forgotten and the Museum has significant here. On the site there are toilets, drinks and books can be purchased at the cashier.

  • Interesting small museum about the East-West German border during the Cold War. Several helicopters and vehicles are also on display. English guide available at front desk.
  • The Lady at the checkout the price of admission was very friendly measured the State of the system. The Museum has come "in the year". Car are exhibited alongside various aircraft's and motorcycles of the time and many documents that describe well then in the GDR, and bordering States. The existing photos give a good insight into the situation. For young people, which know no borders and have no idea of State paternalism, visit this facility should be made mandatory. Especially right down to the fence, a few metres from the freedom away.

  • Nice staff. The exhibition time the tensions between East and West. It is well represented what da business E.g. in escape attempts... I found it very interesting. Because sometimes you get information one has not experienced in school.

  • Very impressive, it offers a lot of information, in particular the statements of the witnesses (via headphones or loudspeakers) make it very interesting. Through the container, various vehicles and aircraft, it is however very fully set. A single information centre or Museum would back the effect of the terrain and its original use back in the Center. Still recommended even if there are better monuments to the Division of Germany.
