  • Nice set up museum on the top floor of a furniture store. Gives insight into life behind the iron curtain.

  • The visit to the GDR Museum Thale was a flashback to the past. Long forgotten came back to the fore. I have reminds me of many things, I've even owned or knew from family members or acquaintances here. Very nice I found that you could touch everything, could look in drawers or cabinets because there "even more things to hide"! Worth a visit for those who connect the EXEs State not only unpleasant things. A really nice review in the past. I hope that this place remains!

  • A very interesting collection in an unusual location (6th floor furniture store). But, we found that exactly this unusual environment makes more interesting in this unusual collection. This museum contains a collection of products from all life situations of the GDR time. Also the boards with many explanations of the history are very good and helpful. We felt transported back to our childhood. Thank you very much for this experience!

  • Who is there in close times should look absolutely. A visit will be rewarded with good humor. For visitors from West of the Elbe are I recommend an interpreter which is East of the Elbe. It is very entertaining. The exhibition did not like who he has lost anything here. Thanks to the team who all have built up.

  • Not quite my case, this is my personal opinion. Authentic rooms from earlier, how one has lived. A little old technique and odds and ends. For an overview the photos on Google maps look at :-)
