The wine village is a wonderful feast for body and soul every year. Peaceful end of August / beginning of September odentliche people sit together and enjoy good wine and good food by the wine-growers and restaurants from surrounding areas that offer these in Stuttgart on the Schillerplatz and market square (in front of the City Hall) in small but cosy, temporärten wine arcades. Test thanks to which connections can be any very good public transport here the quality of the different wines would like to go back and forth - with bus & train. This was in particular the guests with two - and that license plate considering alcohol controls around recommended from the area around Stuttgart.

Great time in the town center, enjoying local wines with the Locals. And no surprise they are love to discuss almost anything over a few glasses of wine.  more »

The Stuttgart Weindorf is held annually in late August for the past 40 years. Venue-cent city, near the Town Hall and the Royal Palace. Come to the Festival every year, representatives of more than 40 wineries, which guarantees great selection of wines, special attention paid to recommend rislingu. Despite the fact that the Wine Festival is held for long enough, the main guests is the inhabitants of the city and the surrounding area. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed reigns here. Tourists from other countries is not much, maybe that is why almost no menu in English. Besides the different wines at the Festival, you can taste the Swabian cuisine in the many restaurants, well organized on the territory of the Festival. The average glass of wine worth 5-6 euros. The glass you need to pay a deposit of about 2 euro. Glass can be returned at the end of the tasting, and you can take home as a souvenir. On Sunday organized a special program for children.

Where to stay in Stuttgart

Stuttgart's city center offers a number of lodging options near major sites, but consider areas just outside the center for better deals. For example, Stuttgart-West is within walking distance from the center and boasts its fair share of cafes, restaurants, markets, and theaters. Two more areas, Stuttgart-Ost and Stuttgart-Süd, are also centrally located and full of local character.
