I was here in August of 2015 on a very hot day, it had very good air conditioning and clean bathrooms. The Staatsgalerie Stuttgart (State Gallery) has a collection of paintings and sculptures from the 14th to the 21st century the most visited museums in Germany. In the permanent collection are currently approximately 800 works of art to see. It has collections of Old German Italian and Dutch paintings.
Huge art gallery! Give yourself plenty of time to see the exhibits.
