  • Schillerplatz, one can say that it is the most famous square of the city of Stuttgart, is located in the Centre of the city, near the shopping street Königstraße, and many of the most important points of the city's main attractions. This square is surrounded by interesting buildings such as the Stiftskirche (Collegiate Church), Fruchthasten, Prinzenbau, Altes Schloss... It is a cobbled pedestrian square. In the center of the square there is a monument to Friedrich Schiller, which was erected in the year 1839, by the Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen. It held some of the events and most important events in the city such as, for example, the Christmas market. Under Schillerplatz, there is an underground car park. It is a square, with some charm, you have to see it.
