  • The Linden Museum is the highlight in Stuttgart for us. The high quality collection is presented here exceptionally pretty and lit. The didactic structure, as well as the labelling of the exhibits sets standards. It is and remains the most beautiful Museum of Ethnology in Europe for us. The highlight is and remains the Bazaar road from Tashkurgan/Afghanistan. When you wanted to demolish the old Bazaar, a part of the Bazaar was dismantled and faithfully rebuilt in the Linden Museum. The Museum offers also a nice little Café where you can take things to themselves. Is also a small museum shop. This was once an attractive offer, but unfortunately not so, too bad.

  • A must visit when you are in Stuttgart! Hidden gem!
  • Except that our tour guide was late few mins, the Islamic Orient, East Asian, Maya sections were presented in a very interesting, Informative and non biased manner. The guides are friendly, have really good background and have experienced what they are discussing. Definitely going there another time for all the other interesting sections.
  • Exhibition good, but an effrontery that the audio guide extra costs, in other Museum he is free. You should pay even as Member for this as I have, then want to have even a pawn for this, am thanking without a guide through the exhibition.
