Extremely interesting fairly small museum. It provides knowledge about other cultures and has changing exhibition topics. In the middle of Stuttgart close the Katharinenhospital and the University.
Достаточно большой этнографический музей недалеко от местного университета. Хорошо подобранная коллекция. И посетителей совсем немного.Sufficiently large Ethnographic Museum near the local University. Well-chosen collection. And visitors quite a bit.show original
Except that our tour guide was late few mins, the Islamic Orient, East Asian, Maya sections were presented in a very interesting, Informative and non biased manner. The guides are friendly, have really good background and have experienced what they are discussing. Definitely going there another time for all the other interesting sections.

Dietmar SchneidewindIn the Linden-Museum Stuttgart, the exhibition "INKA - Kings of the Andes" will take place in cooperation with the Exhibition Centre locomotive shed of Rosenheim of the 12.10.13 up to the 16.03.14. The exhibition is the first of its kind in Europe. We have the exhibition today angeeschaut. In addition to the history of the Incan, you learn more about the living conditions of the Incas. It be pointed out the hierarchies of nobles, priests, "ordinary citizens" etc., and made the reference to the origin, ethnicity, religion, language and movement and activity is economic. Everything is mixed with textiles, Schmack, weapons, jewelry and ceremonial pieces such as offering bowls, and much more. The replica of a sacred mummy is there to see. The problem for me was that there was hardly anything new for me, because I already know much of the Inca culture and me and others also aware, that the Incas use cords with nodes to communicate, because to date no writing of them is known. Unfortunately remained much in the exhibition that are unanswered, but what caused the level of the historical or scientific processing of the Inca culture. However one is pushed us open at the box office. When I asked nicely on the photo ban, whether there would be a photo permission for journalists, such as in the Landesmuseum Württemberg, was pointed out harshly, that cameras or and similar devices would be confiscated directly and only after deletion of the images in at least a week would be returned. The white-haired man with the mustache reviewed his competent, because cameras may konfizieren only police officers or executive officers, otherwise it would be criminal predatory theft pursuant to § 252. As well, no one can delete photos from camera without judicial available, what property damage in accordance with § 303 of the criminal code and digital storage media would be an illegal data modification in accordance with § 303a StGB.show original
