  • You know, very often when you are tourists in a city that has never been seen or maybe you lack of knowledge, the focus falls often on classical choices: museums, famous attractions and tourist guide, traditional advice just as traditional. This Park, despite not being placed on the main routes, worth a visit: huge, well cared for, with animals, rides, children's games, food booths and a tower height of approximately 40 meters from whose top you can enjoy a very interesting view of the city. Free entry, I still I were you, I would spend a few euros to take a ride on the train in which codifies Rails.

  • Very nice, lots of colors, you can feed and pet the animals (mainly goats), take a ride on the steam train, just walk

  • Beautiful landscapes, flowers, quiet, for children there is a great Railroad (tour of 15 minutes on weekends with steam locomotives). A very large playground with many possibilities to gymnastics and to move. Not to mention the Tower, you can climb to the prospect.

  • Great public park to get relaxed. An extremely attractive place for children all ages. Highlight is a place where small kids can touch some animals like pony and horse.
  • Wonderful park to come to work kids. We parked near the hotel in the parking building where Aldi is. 2 Euro per hour. Right outside of parking is where park kids train station is. Train goes around the park non stop. I recommend people to take the ride first, then see where everything is and make a plan where to go. We did the train ride, 3 Euro per adult, then went to the petting zoo and playground (next to each other), there is free bathroom next to the playground. Many fountains, lakes, various birds including flamingoes. Many gardens, looks like botanical garden. We didn't do the tower as we were with a 2 y o and there are to many steps. I'd gladly go there again
  • The Observation Tower of Schlaich Bergermann Partner is not just beautiful in itself, but also offers an astonishing view of Stuttgart, a German metropolis embedded in nature. And it's only one of the highlights of this park. Here you can also ride an old vapor locomotive as well as stroll through well maintained gardens. It's great for kids!
  • While I was browsing I happen to notice a tower called killesbergturm. I searched more and found that its a nice place for a hangout. I also found that there is a park near by so I decided to go there. We went there on a public holiday. The roads were almost empty which reminded me of a hartal day in India. But in the park, there were lot of people and most of them have came with family especially with small kids. The main attraction is the train inside the park. The ticket cost 3 EURO per person. It will take us a round trip inside the park. There is a lot of place to walk, sit and enjoy in the lush green lawn. Lot of trees, plants and flowers. There are some beautiful flowers in the garden. I took some snaps but the beauty is not justified in the photo. See more in the picture gallery. If you going to the park with a kid then the main attraction would be the rides inside the park. There are lot of rides suitable for all the age groups.  It is the finest park I visited in Stuttgart. It has got everything needed for a park.
  • A great park with many small lakes within. a toy train ride during Summer for kids. good place in the centra of Stuttgart for walks, day picnic and play

Where to stay in Stuttgart

Stuttgart's city center offers a number of lodging options near major sites, but consider areas just outside the center for better deals. For example, Stuttgart-West is within walking distance from the center and boasts its fair share of cafes, restaurants, markets, and theaters. Two more areas, Stuttgart-Ost and Stuttgart-Süd, are also centrally located and full of local character.
