  • The heights Park is a beautiful park, which to my knowledge already to the horticultural show in 1930 years opened and modernized since then always further developed/moderate. Most recently for the IGA ' 93. The beauty is that you can escape the car - and other noise of downtown there really is and needed yet only 5 minutes from the Center (HBF) with the underground. Varied design of lawn, flowers and hedges - / tree land with "Hills and valleys". Here is nice to relax, whether walking, on the Meadow concerns, or sports. Mixed offer at some restaurants. There is also a park train to go with, which is operated on weekends and public holidays even with real steam engines (Note: Park railway is operated only during the summer months.) Approximately Easter to end of October). Interesting for flower lovers: dahlia show and Rose Valley. The Park is open all year round and no entrance fee. Disadvantage: since a timetable restructuring a few years ago the Metro the Killesberg unfortunately only in the 20-min intervals at (and also back to the HBF). Who decides so spontaneously or after the walk back to the Haltesst. Killesberg goes, may be quite a long waiting for the next train. My opinion unacceptable for a close to the inner city destination in a city the size of Stuttgart. Tip: Who stop Killesberg out starts, simply (if not completely) a part of the so-called green "U" running and go to Lion's Gate, North Station or Rosensteinpark. All stops there be approached during the day at least. the 10-min intervals. There are some parking for visitors by car.

  • Nice park near downtown. It has a train ride, carouse, and playground young children would love. There's also plenty of places for parents to sit as well as a place that serves drinks and snacks.  more »

  • My kids love this park. The tower was awesome. However I did struggle going up those 174 steps but the views!!!! There was also a petting zoo, a beautiful garden, and a decent playground for the kids. If your hungry there are restaurants and snack carts. Something for everyone.
  • An awesome inner-city park with a multitude of walking paths. Come during the day with munchkins for a fun little train ride, a live carnival, and animal feeding, along with the usual suspects of playgrounds, flower beds, ponds, vistas, and birds (including a flock of flamingos!). If you want a little more adult fun, there's a beer garden below the (very climb-able) tower and the club located in the park is renowned for its all night parties.
  • Great place to walk around and relax. Parking is not the greatest but that is the only drawback. Two small trains to ride around on and places to get coffee and hang out.
  • Very nice park with big playground for kids. Lots of families and easy to get in contact with people.
  • Really lovely parks. Great water features and continues on to more parks that lead you right back to Stuttgart, although the ones at the start are much nicer.
