  • It rained during the holidays, so we went to Stralsund. We were only in the Ozeaneum, and then in the Museum of the sea. The snake in the Ozeaneum was infinitely long - in the Museum of the sea, it was. It is an old monastery. And in which many aquariums and exhibits around the theme of sea. My children have been thrilled by the many great colorful fish. We adults liked the mix of topics. Fish, fishing, animals in the, most, um, above sea level. Really worthwhile, especially when at the Ozeaneum is a long snake.

  • Had no expectations, but was surprised. High quality at the time. Nice Aquarium and interesting facts. The kids loved it! Strange is that Ozeanium and this museum are so similar. It gets expensive when you visit both and it's the same facts and almost the same fish.

  • Eshr interesting and informative Museum visitors will be offered here. The exhibition provides information about fishing, the oceans to the problems, pollution and overfishing to bring. Therefore an absolute: worth seeing!

  • A lot of fun for the younglings and lots to see. A bit tight on space when crowded.
  • Personally I prefer this one over the Ozeaneum. You should check out both though.
  • A very good and educational museum where you easily can spend many hours. Even the building and the modern adaptation of the ancient is interesting (when you are a former steel builder like me). Very nice models of boats, trapping, fishing nets, etc., that clearly explains the methods and practices.
  • A really cool museum with the history of the local fisheries and sealife.
  • The older part of the meeresmuseum-ozeaneum ensemble. Some of the exhibition pieces are aged, but still nice to look at and their meaning is not old in any way. e sure to take a tour through the aquamarine area!
