  • Awesome!!! I really love this place and it’s always great to be there. It was our third visit and it won’t be the last. Our kids are afraid of the ghost in the cellar. Great idea!!  more »
  • Based on TA raves, drove here and climbed a long way only to find no open entrance.Other old fortified castles in the area are open. A German I met also had no luck.  more »
  • We dumbed on to this fabulous fortress and it was an absolute favorite part of our trip. There were very few people here. We had the place almost to ourselves. We loved exploring every nook and...  more »

  • Driving through we saw this landmark from the car. The castle was shut but we amused ourselves wandering around the base and the local town. As castles go we liked it.
  • A place to get some quiet and be in tune with nature.
  • I can recommend it with all my heart. One of the best castles I've ever been to. When it's nice weather you can see really far and make some good photos. Exhibition is in English, German and Polish so there shouldn't be any problem in understanding the history of this place. It's let friendly place with acceptable restaurant. The tickets cost €7 for adult and 5.50 for students and kids. I recommend seeing everything from towers to basements. After trip I recommend EiZmanufaktur stolpen- the best natural ice creams I've ever had, made of frozen fruits, yogurt and ecological cream base
  • It is a nice old fortress and well maintained. With good weather you can climb the towers and see really far. At the same time the exhibitions are a bit plane. There are a few interesting pieces and some stuff u can learn, but nothing mind blowing and it was missing a bit of the overall concept and context.
  • Worth a visit!
