Wies Church became a pilgrimage site after the figure of the Scourged Savior began to weep tears in 1738. Local authorities converted a hasty chapel into a Rococo church in the late 1740s, hoping to make the supernatural visible. UNESCO recognized the church in 1983 as a World Heritage site. The setting, other attractions nearby, and the surprising size of this rural church make it worth the drive out here. I have to confess that I can discuss this style, but if I'm honest I have to say see it occasionally makes with real pleasure, but better not to enter in some respects. From the point of view of luxury, impressive. Highlight among other things, the organ, that although recharged, as all the Church, not let be a real watermark, as the entire building.

外観からは想像できないほど内部はきれいです。白い壁にパイプオルガンが映えて、金の装飾もあり、見ごたえあります。 more »Can't imagine from the look inside is clean. White walls shining rays of the pipe organ, and gold decor, spectacular.
A very non imposing church from the outside but absolutely amazing when you get inside. The only problem is that it is now such a tourist attraction there are quite literally bus loads of people going through it all the time. Kind of takes the gloss off the whole experience.
Perfect environment and cute place. But notice it cannot take photos in the church.
A beautiful church worth visiting. It can be hard to find.
Hold your breath before go inside, really impressive.
I just love to be here!!
