  • Steingaden who goes to the "Wieskirche", not to the left should be. Finally, it was the Steingadener abbot who initiated its construction. The Premonstratensian monastery, repeatedly rebuilt collegiate, the Guelph Minster named after its founder, a part of the Romanesque cloister and the chapel remained. Well worth a visit, as the Church of the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance contains elements. Since 1740, the playful splendor of the Rococo dominated their Longhouse.

  • The Guelph Münster is a very nice Church here in the area. Certainly not so lavishly equipped as Rottenbuch and Wieskirche. The Pfaffenwinkel has a more featured church with the Guelph Münster but. But, I would draw their interest on the monastery garden, designed in direct neighborhood to the Cathedral. Small bronze figures are the only art on first glance. One we but on a Board about the plant informed., there is also a folder. Then we only visible that each square in this small garden has its purpose. The compost itself stands as a metaphor for the ephemeral and the humus for new life. Flowers, Roses specifically, but also fruit and herbs can be seen. Seating bieen place to use the new system to relax. I was seeing and hearing experience.

  • In the small town of Steingaden is a fantastic Church. A wealth of beautiful furnishings such as beautiful paintings, altars, pulpit, ceiling paintings, gold gilding, and so on. There are hardly words to describe how beautiful it is. This is probably Germany's second most beautiful church in comparison with other very beautiful churches. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST TO VISIT, THIS CAN REALLY RECOMMENDED

  • Beautiful old church. Outside is not overly impressive bu the inside is amazing.
  • If you liked the Wieskirche you should definitely visit this beautiful church which is only a 5 minute drive from Wies and on the way there. Would be a shame if you missed it.
  • Featured "Guelph Münster" former monastery church with Romanesque-Baroque / Rococo elements, there is much to discover such as Not for wheelchair users – promote the Guelph fresco with the Guelph family tree or the extremely reichtverzierte Rococo pulpit u.v.m., a visit worthwhile in any case, at the entrance!
