  • The home of one of the few surviving Russian Buran space shuttles. The space exhibit in general is really interesting. The rest of the museum is rather haphazardly organized, especially compared with ...  more »
  • The name "Museum of technology" is actually incorrect. The vast part of the collection deals with everything that swims, runs or flies. The supply to these areas is however rich, most exhibits are maintained good to very good. "Highlights" are doing the walk-in aircraft mounted on quasi standing in "Flying position", and the Soviet original space shuttle "Buran". The aircraft can be reached should be about halfway walking with spiral stairs, if you want to the jumbo, you may have no fear of heights. Apart from the space Hall, the exhibits are however somewhat closely put together. American fire-fighting vehicles in addition to locomotives, some aircraft on the ceiling, a carousel stand in between. In the space Hall was still space for cars. And in the stands, there's an extensive motorcycle exhibition. Pretty "Loveless" are the locomotives on the open-air hardstanding, other exhibits, the Museum devotes considerably more attention. All in all worth the visit anyway, because where can man inside a JumboJet go and look at the structure of the plane and go on one of the wings? Or get to know the inner workings of a submarine? A few hours pass as quickly. There is a restaurant with food at reasonable prices. The IMAX Theatre with the dome projection is worth a visit.

  • Great museum. Well worth the admission. Couple it with the sister museum in Sinsheim for a great day
  • Fantastic exhibits in some cases the only place where they can be seen. The range of transportation examples is excellent including aircraft, motor vehicles, trains and boats. So much to see the hours past so quickly.
  • Educational and entertaining, you will find lots of activities for children and adults. It has air planes, trains, ships, submarines, cars and many other interesting items. I would definitely recommend it for everyone specially families with children.
  • Very rich in interesting Exponates but would need a renovation.
  • We can spend a day here going around displayed items. Liked the astronomical section
