  • The special exhibitions in the Historisches Museum der Pfalz rightly enjoy a very good reputation. The current exhibition titled "Maya - the mystery of the imperial cities" is recommended for all ages. A separate child audio guide leads such as recent visitors on a tour of discovery through the premises. Numerous original discoveries and their descriptions provide insights into a long lost culture. Nation, religion, urban development, food production, storage, technical development of archaeology itself and and and - it will not boring here very determined! The audio tour costs by the way, no extra charge. Who wants to visit the exhibition "Ramses" in Karlsruhe, should keep the ticket and present in the Badischen Landesmuseum at the Office - is 3 Euro discount!

  • The exhibition are always again nicely varied and interesting. For children, there are many ways "to the join". We find reasonable admission fees for the exhibitions. The Café is okay so far.

  • The Mayas have always interested me and it is an excellent exhibition, well thought out, with a lot visual aids, which makes it come alive. What impressed me was that they made is also interesting to ...  more »

  • A really nice museum with a lot of interesting pieces of roman history. But the special exhibitions, like the recent Titanic event, are really great. Always something very special. The restaurant inside under a glass roof is an island for relaxing. They have some special vegan dishes and the prices are okay. There is normally enough place. On special evenings there is even live-music. It also parts the regular museum and the building for the special exhibitions. Nicely done and a good idea. It might be a place to show you old stuff, but the museum is modern and amazing.
  • Very interesting museum that traces the history of the region since prehistoric times. If the Museum is interesting, it is poorly presented and quite messy. Large empty indoor hall should be used for receptions, but is pretty weird. The staff is moderately friendly and disinclined to work a minute more. He pushes you out pretty roughly 20 minutes before closing. The price is quite high for the provision, but the collections are worth.

  • We looked at "only" the historical Museum since at the time no special exhibition there was. There was so much to see, that a special exhibition in addition then would have been too much for me. Unfortunately, access to the "Cathedral treasure" is not easy to recognize! Here is a clear indication on the staircases in the corners!

  • The traveling exhibition are highly recommended. Close to the Duomo, so just look...

  • There were "Detectives agents and spies" to the exhibition. Occurs about 12 euros for adults. A super interesting exhibition which was fun. Totally interactive and with great attention to detail. We were thrilled!
