  • It's far below ground. As long as I can remember, the leadership has not changed. And we have taken part many times. Always with different guests. All were enthusiastic.

  • There are in the region, or in Germany to experience hardly comparable. I know no visitors, returning not impressed by his entrance into the mountain. A must for all Bakht by middle Hesse.

  • A visit is to empferhlen. The guides are well made and you can learn a lot about mining. You should visit the adjoining Museum of mine railways on the occasion and take a ride with a mine train.

  • Very loud machinery but very interesting if you understand German
  • The Grube Fortuna visitors mine is worth a visit. Here you can get an insight into the hard work, which at that time had a miner under expert guidance. You should also make sure that on the mine site under "Field and pit Railway Museum" look at. Old, lovingly restored locomotives and various other machines are shown here. There are also "riding days", where you can ride with the locomotives on the approximately 2.5 kilometres long rail network.

  • Very interesting visitor mine, a visit is worthwhile in any case!

  • That's all great, especially with children (from 6!). Great leadership by former miners, a fast-paced ride through dark tunnels with the tramway and mining machines live in action (caution: it is loud)! And then an ice or a piece of cake. All in all so a perfect family outing. And next door are old railways to admire... what wants it more.

  • Is really worth a visit of Grube Fortuna. It goes into the cage in the depth, then mine train on and off in the tunnel. The staff very friendly and considerate then tell of the ore mining and throw even the old machines, so that you get a feeling, as there the removal happened. Thanks man rarely experienced such great leaders there again! The normal tour passes unfortunately far too quickly and you wish they actually much longer. Mine is a true experience and who is planning a connection program, will have certainly a great day.
