  • The German blade Museum is housed with an extensive exhibition on the history of the manufacture of blades in an old building. Historical maps.

  • The blade Museum is worth visiting and if necessary the detour for every knife lover. It shows the development of the knife as a whole, but also the development of knifemaking in Solingen. Many great pieces! The visit is of course especially worthwhile Knifemaker fair (approximately May 1st). Interesting shop, even if some cheap knives with security not in Solingen made (that should not be in a 'national' Klingnemuseum.

  • What did once famous Solingen, is exhibited here varied: cutlery. By the thrusting and stabbing weapons of the middle ages (partly original exhibits) to modern table culture with its various forms of cutlery; This apparent everyday things are present as compact as probably no other place in Germany. Absolutely worthwhile visiting, because you discover Canada many rarities and certainly some people previously not known. Bright, friendly rooms in a former monastery building. Surviving directly on one of the most beautiful market places of a "village" in the Bergisches Land. Solinger also likes to call it "Treasure chest".

  • Very cool!
  • Very nice and worth the visit.
  • Am fair there, always great and very good talks every year to the knife. There are the best blades money can buy. A good knife needs already some hundred hours...

  • Solingen is considered the city of blades and this museum is its extraordinary testimony: swords, knives, blades, razors and cutting tools. Only con explanations only in German
