  • A really great Museum for technophiles. The Museum extends over two halls (plus outdoor area). You can enter each Hall twice with the tickets on the day of the visit; This is important, as it is necessary for an IMAX presentation from the Hall out. The essence is to cars, aircraft, railways, as well as to special vehicles such as tanks, trucks and special vehicles. Everything very clean and tidy. We were on a Friday during the Easter holidays there right directly shortly after 9. It was pleasantly empty hardly imagine how it is in the summer on a weekend...

  • It is as good as me saying entrees Heidelberg tourism and Museum. Military, civilian and Navy may (little sea) rides a large collection. During rides outside, such as the pipe organ and sewing machines are exhibited. Fried's supersonic aircraft Concorde and Tupolev Tu-2. To my surprise turn in the cabin. Staff can be reached by S-Bahn Heidelberg.

  • I had thought this place was a lot bigger, but was round it in an afternoon. It is very good, I had gone principally for the cars but also enjoyed the militaria and the planes. It did seem a bit odd, ...  more »

  • This is really a fine Museum. It is full of automobile history from the beginning right up until almost today. It also has a very well-equipped military history section with lots of vehicles figures and uniforms. Furthermore outside there are lots of airplanes up in the air making the place look like my room when I was a child where the model airplanes were hanging from the ceiling. Add to this a very good IMAX and you have a place where you can easily spend a full day and be fully entertained. Oh and let's not forget that the museum hosts a myriad of special events every year.
  • If you are into planes, trains, and autmobiles, you should definitely check out this musuem. I could have easily spent all day here. It has 2 large buildings that have anything from caboose's to airplanes to tanks.
  • This place is fantastic. Cool planes, nice exhibits, old German and American tanks, cars, etc. Never seen a place you can go inside an airplane when it's mounted
  • Not very crowded at all, and if you're into military history, or old cars, or auto racing, you've got to check it out. You can also get an inside look both of the two commercial supersonic airplanes. The cafeteria food wasn't too bad, and wasn't overpriced either. Almost no waiting in lines anywhere. Nice kids section, too.
  • An amazing museum of interest to all ages. The exhibits are displayed in social history context. The exhibits are of world class standard.
