  • Bypass the castle and walk through the gardens. A mini oasis in town. A beautiful place to walk through with kids. Gives them a chance to run around with no cars. Watch out for the swans!
  • In the middle of the city, surrounded the this beautiful Castle Park of cafes and restaurants. You can, for hours if that makes weather, go for a walk and discover something new. Offers us already on the Christmas market

  • Worth visiting - particularly at Cherry Blossom time - then it makes every season the impression you would be in Japan - not only of the cherry blossoms, sonderen also by Japanese visitors by the proximity of Heidelberg

  • The castle gardens are of an outstanding beauty with lots of things to discover, like fountains, the mosque, mock-up ruin, statues, ... You can spend almost a full day walking and exploring it ! One of the most beautiful gardens I ever saw. Your best walking shoes are advised and also a map of the gardens that you can get at the entrance. We made our visit on a hot day and to be honest our visit was spoiled by a parc surintendant patroling on a bike who said it was not allowed to put a toe into the fresh water. There is also an interdiction not allowing to walk on the grass nor leaving the footpaths. Unwritten for us, no signs, therefore 1 star falls of.
  • A beautiful garden and castle it was the sommer castle of a German kind of king ,if you visit in winter remember that :D
  • The gardens are just mesmerizing. Must visit.
  • Lovely gardens and a perfect spot to have a gala dinner, as in my case. Cheers to the friendly guided tours available!
  • You can easily spend half a day in the park.
