Прекрасное место для прогулки. Дворцовый сад Шветцинген является культурным памятником - кроме прекрасно оформленных цветочных клумб и крытых аллей в саду располагаются более 100 скульптур. The palace garden of Schwetzingen is a cultural monument-in addition to the beautifully decorated flower beds and covered alleys in the garden are more than 100 sculptures. The area of the Park is large enough, keep in mind, at the entrance to the only wc palace complex-right wing. There are pamphlets in Russian. Tickets can be purchased with a visit to the Palace and garden, and only with a visit to the garden, and depends on the time of visit-from March to October, is more expensive. There is a restaurant, but it was reserved for a banquet. But there is kafushechki, where you can have coffee and a snack. Shops, supermarket, where there was already a Christmas sale. A typical small, but cosy European town. Bus stops are nearby. I would go there again returned to just walk. We were in October-time Golden autumn, and it was very warm 20-22 degrees.

Very extensive conditioning all year is well worth a visit. It's so big that we limit ourselves to a part. Everything at once is too much (except when you come for a day trip). There are including an Orangery, a bath complex, a mosque, a Roman aqueduct and several temples as well as an arboretum and an English garden and also a French. The garden is always top in shot, i.e. the paths are cut clean, plants, etc. The castle is very nice and well maintained. Who cares for the rooms, the furniture and the like should book a guided tour and learns a lot about that time there. In the castle garden restaurant, you can relax after or in between and strengthen. Or outside in one of the numerous restaurants and Cafés on the Schlossplatz.
The history behind the palace is interesting, along with it being a stop Mozart made when he did a performance, which I did. The garden is huge, neat, and really nice. The outside and inside is very, very nice. I highly recommend everyone goes here at least once.
Beautiful castle. a must see if in the area. The Christmas market is small but also beautiful.
Beautiful grounds and VERY well kept! We paid 8€ pp for the tour (only allowed via guide) and access to the gardens. It was really gorgeous and a lovely day well spent. It's massive and you should bring snacks and water because it's definitely half a day's worth of time. They have a small kitchen, but it was pretty pricey, so we skipped. Bathrooms are included! Haha no need to pay 0.50€. The only warning is that true to European design, there is zzzzero ventilation. I recommend grabbing a portable chair upon entrance to the castle tour (right at the top of the stairs). I was seconds away from passing out because of the heat/CO2 levels. Thankfully my husband requested a chair and I sat for the remainder. No bags allowed, unless it looks like a purse...then it's somehow allowed. *eye roll* No bikes allowed, so be prepared to walk walk walk :) Definitely recommend on a sunny day. Definitely don't recommend on a cloudy, cold day.
You just can't fault this garden. It's perfectly maintained for its size, and pretty in every corner. A great place for romantics, families, joggers, picnics, etc. It's probably the best kept secret in the region.
Absolutely gorgeous in spring/ summer. The gardens are very well kept and offer the perfect atmosphere for a casual and/ or romantic walk. Combined with the castle tour, it's a great tourist attraction.
