  • The bold architecture with reflective outer skin and and dynamic Interior inspires. I felt the clean aesthetics of the presentation was beneficial, in between looking wanders again the exhibits, in the coal mining industry. Convinced the didactics of the exhibition – from hands-on lab up to the large-format collage, a wealth of information on the early history and the life of our distant ancestors are available for large and small people who should can already read and write. And is drumrum Przewalski's horses, to see even some mining and interactive areas. Of course, the Spears as the earliest surviving human hunting weapons are not the only a central theme - but (thankfully). Yes, the entrance fee is about the equivalent of a cinema ticket (why not?), Yes, the parking is also not free (thats actually a really important criterion for assessing a science and experience Museum?) and Yes, the courageous construction has cost a lot money. But if one had a reason otherwise, to drive from the motorway off - and Schöningen?

  • It is very much to see, not only Spears. Throughout history, it is very interesting. You must care for our Earth's history. Much to read. It is well built. Something doesn't interest children under 12 years. A beautiful look at the open-pit mining. Again I don't have out there.
