  • Already after the harsh speech of welcome by the "Falconer", something occurred to me. Already at the beginning, the distraught and fearful animals noticed, that opportunities had at chains moored, no, to pull back. Especially the Eagles are housed in an aviary where they can fly hardly a piece. Accordingly, aggressive, understandably, they behaved then visitors to. Especially the children raised in the barrack square sound, not too close to the animals. Grotesquely, expected the "Falconer" would present guests to take care of the children, even though they had none at all in the company of this. Appropriate comments were derogatory comments from her and exposed the visitors ahead of the group. Time for me to leave this undignified and animal unfriendly scenario. I wonder why here on the part of the authorities not to intervene is and binding requirements for welfare be granted! For me, this was the first and last visit there. In the future I will look at better this proud animals in the wild.

  • Oh my goodness, this mountain was gorgeous. If you like nature and you're visiting Germany, I highly recommend visiting here. You can drive up all the way to the top if you don't want to (or have time to) hike. If you want to enter the lookout tower you need cash. I only had a credit card and they wouldn't accept it.
  • Single restaurant on Mt. major field. Not competing definitely with the two kiosks, as hot meals and seating is available in the Falcon yard. The atmosphere is slightly too cool me personally. Most forces in the service are very warm and friendly (also bikers to) set.

  • From Frankfurt, he almost always visible - is the Feldberg with its characteristic weather station towers. From Frankfurt we drove quickly Operl Zoo, Kronberg and Königstein on up the mountain.

  • You can walk with a dog here. There's also a wonderful view and it looks really nice in the winter!
