At 930 m (3,051 ft) above sea level, the manmade is the highest reservoir in Germany. You can reach it via the scenic Three Lakes Railway. The cool waters are flanked by three picturesque towns: Schluchsee, Seebrugg, and Aha, all of which epitomize the charm of German mountain villages. The 18 km (11 mi) paved walk follows the lake's shoreline. During the summer months, you can take a boat on a pleasure cruise. • The Lake is easily accessible by train (station has the own bank). Perhaps not so famous with the Titisee, but it has its charms, that may not be such agglomeration of people.

  • After a long time again even in the / in Schluchsee. The Lake and the town are now not so special or particularly beautiful. Little flair and for the proposed far too many people. Nix with rest and relaxation. Somehow mass rather than class. Titisee is also very full but somehow cosy and Nice. The food quantity instead of quality. I'm sorry, maybe in 5 years once again. Are danger – overvalued like back home.
