  • Here, you win a small but great insight into the processing as well as raw materials from which the whisky is produced! Food was also great, but better only in the afternoon or evening (very tasty)

  • Small modern distillery amidst beautiful alpine mountains and Lake Schlier panorama. Six Euros plant tour including two samples. Their onsite shop carries a number of different articles from whiskey infused chocolate to BBQ books.
  • Sales people know their products. Didn't do a tour of the distillery. Whisky is rather expensive for its young age.
  • If you are visiting Southern Bavaria, you shouldn't miss out to visit this High Quality Whiskey distillery. Great experience if you are a whisky lover 👍
  • Sometimes they have something special behind the tasting bar... Be sure to ask!
  • Anyone who reads this report, knows the product "Slyrs" and the story related. On many boards, step by step all of whiskey brewing processes are discussed in detail the visitors. So, he is involved in the brewing process and through the distillery. After changing of the distillery in the barrel Hall, where you can admire the carefully stacked barrels. A ramp leads to the tasting area, where in addition to bread and water, also a three-year Slyrs plus liqueur tasting available. Even if the marketing is very good, so is the main product always still to only three-year single malt that taste far behind his Scottish colleagues. My Tip: try the version to mature in Sherry casks. Because on this page but not the product is evaluated, but the distillery incl. upstream shop, one comes not around here to give the full number of points.
