  • We visited this museum last week. We took a bus from near Schliersee train station and got off at Neuhas train station and the museum is just 5 mins walk from there. It shows how Bavarian people lived...  more »

  • We were random in Schliersee, where also the Christmas market is held on the weekend and wanted to look at it. We were quite early so that we could find a parking space without difficulties. The entrance fee is moderate 2 euro. I think regular Museum costs 8,50 euro, I find this somewhat expensive for a few old farmhouses/-Ställe. The Christmas market is quite nice, but not exceptional. When it was really full, we went, because no pleasure is sure to push into mass across the yard. Meanwhile, the previous rain-drenched meadows were full, but thanks to the lighting we could find our car. Conclusion: If one ever is nearby you can go, but extra travel we would not.

  • The Christmas market there was very nice.
  • Interesting history of Bavarian housing

  • A beautiful journey through time in the past, I lacked a little friendliness at the entrance, but even more the Declaration of individual exhibits. It is one to exhibit old items, but also the story about something else. Just so she can be transported also across generations.

  • Very special flair, especially when the Sun has gone down. Worth a visit in any case!
