  • We "fell" on this site watching the show on German television for children "Kika" with "Tobi Checker" that my 6 year old son love! I looked on the internet and it's not far from Basel by car, about 3 hours. We spent the weekend in Trier, Germany, known as old Roman site and after Gondwana. Arrived on the scene we were pleasantly surprised after paying the entry, may be initially we believe them expensive, but the quality of the exhibition and the technique used are well worth the price! The restaurant is not expensive for a quick meal, it's not extraordinary space child it's great after the tour, especially for parents who may well rest in tranquility view that is safe for adults and children! The staff are friendly and speak very good English (listened to with other visitors because I speak German). I had a very good impression of the local and if the opportunity arises I do the trick!

  • We were already the second time in Gondwana, it's very beautiful there ever again. The entry is already very high, for it but too much is offered. In the port you can then also geheb in the Dino world - a large indoor playground and the kids can be the last rest :-)

  • Today were in the GONDWANA and were thrilled. Was skeptical at first because we were with our 3 1/2-year-old daughter there, but she is totally enthusiastic dinosaur. There were many families with small children, and there are always things like puzzles etc so that it will not be bored even the little. After the tour, we had something to eat in the restaurant. The food was good and reasonably priced (schnitzel with French fries and salad € 10 soft drinks €1.50) behind wanted our daughter of course still on the Indoor playground. Also, we were thrilled, very well maintained, clean and nothing broken (also other experienced). By the personnel, we can't say anything negative, all very friendly and service oriented. There is much, but despite everything, I find somewhat high price from €23 per person. Children are free up to 4 years, however, we recommend the admission after 6 years and since it is pointed out at the box office again. Has apparently already often happened that parents their money back have called because her child was afraid and no longer wanted. Be determined at some point again to go.

  • A real good outing with Kids + Family. Have been to many Dino Museums but this is special. Our son of 5 1/2 enjoyed it fully and understood as well. The movie show is one of its type. The size and the walk is perfect for kids. Not too much information and not to less: To the point. As parents+ grandparents we were explaining the facts to him and he was interested and questions as well. They write the recommended age as more than 6 or 8 (i forgot) which is true. We had a kid of 6-7 age around us who got scared. The scenic and the dinos are pretty much real like. You are just passing by the dinos who are making the real loud dino sounds and that can be overwhelming for some kids. They have a good cafe/rest. and a very good indoor play area. One can even celebrate birthdays there. The food was good and very reasonable. Yes one can say the entry fee is bit higher compared to other similar options with kids but then it a private owned and i have not seen a similar Pre-historic museum in other parts of the world. Will visit again when our kid when he can read everything on his own or to celebrate is birthday in next 2 years.
  • a great place to spend a day with the kids especially on cold rainy days , the Exhibitions are organised beautifully and the time travel and the adventures are fun although I would invest more on a better quality 3D glasses if I were them
  • Very cool place, they recreated the dinosaurs very well 🙂
  • Interesting museum.
  • Mainly monolingual business. 3D movies are not available for other languages but German. Ditto about the staff
