  • The journey should be walking from the parking lot. The road through the beech forest is very nice. If you would like to visit only the King chair the price of 8 euros is too high. The King Chair has a unique perspective on the chalk cliffs. Then it's worth visiting in the cinema and the Museum (is included in the admission price), which is suitable for large and small. If you have looked at all the entrance fee of 8 euros worth. Who does not want to run, you can take the shuttle bus.

  • The National Park Centre focused on the UNESCO World Heritage site of beech forest, the white cliffs that are the real attraction on site, are quite short. But: the exhibition is managed with film and tour with audio guide. Very clever: Each visitor of the King Chair of that would enjoy only the view, must solve a ticket for the Centre and so also unexpectedly ends up in the exhibition, which gets more attention. Watch out for additional costs: in good weather I recommend the hike here, so bypass the paid parking plus paid bus shuttle. Who wants to see just rocks, can visit free of charge other prospects than the Königgstuhl and "saves" the really interesting Center

  • We were surprised by the National Park Centre. We had honestly expected a bit "dry" exhibition, but were surprised by the entire opposite. A very lively, very well supported with multimedia content presentation. Until now only from museums in the United Kingdom, we knew such.

  • As the others call it - a tourists trap. Without the museum the fee is €7. You can get to a platform on the cliff where you cannot really see it. The stairs down are closed. But they don't tell you when selling the ticket. We were out in 15 minutes. Also there does not seem to be any map of the space around. No info board, no leaflet with a map.
  • The view is beautifull. Also the 35 minute walk from the parking place to Königsstuhl is it worth. You can take the bus back if you want. The entrance of €8.50 is overprices.
  • Entrance is fancy but you can cheat here and go to see other rocks for free. They are even more impressive.
  • This is an overpriced tourist trap. Taking your money for nothing. You do not have to go in for the view or anything else. Save yourselves EUR 8.50 and go a bit to the left - a better view for free.
  • Really great view of the chalk cliffs and a great walkthrough guide in the museum
