  • Quite interesting walk in the forest. At the entrance there were hints regarding behavior toward animals. It was also noted as children had to behave. It also had instructions on how to free the popcorn animals (apes) should be addressed to do not risk to be bitten.

  • About 2 hours away from Munich monkey mountain is now for 40 years in Salem at Lake Constance. An animal park, which is always worth the drive! Very moderate ticket prices: adults = €8.50 children 6-15 years = 5,50€ in addition to monkeys, there is here also storks and fallow deer. At certain times one can watch even when feeding or actively take part in the fallow deer. The Park is a forest, where more than 200 Barbary macaques quite freely live in principle. Even on very hot days no problem, because here there are many protective trees. Who wants to see baby monkeys, should go from May/June to the Park. Of course, if they stay on the trail and then many monkeys you can feed with special popcorn sit here on the boundary. Here and there are also people who like to talk and answer questions. Also for the physical well-being is taken care of, because there is a tavern. In addition to warm snacks and hot dishes, also coffee, ice cream and cake is offered. Weather permitting, you can sit in the large beer garden. There is an adventure playground for children in sight. Whether large or small, we were all excited.

  • A bit shocked by feeding the stork with dead chicks we continued towards the monkey mountain. Beautiful forest, great animals and enough guest representatives on almost every tree :) Also the catering is wonderful, good for families with children in good weather and organized as an alternative.

  • Fun place for a short trip. The monkeys are taken care of and don't seem as depressed as they would in a small zoo enclosure. The place is surrounded by lovely little villages.
  • The park is nice and clean. There are several areas to visit. A lake with birds and fish, a forest with monkeys, a pond with frogs and an opening with deers running around. There is also a self service restaurant and a playground for kids. The place is worth a stop for two to three hours tops. The is not much to do there other than feed the monkeys and stroll around a pretty short path.
  • A very nice park, you have several areas to visit : playground for kids, a lake with fish, forest with monkey where you can feed them popcorn. Enough to spend a few hours with children.
  • Schönes Erlebnis. In der Hochsaison mit längeren Wartezeiten am Eingang rechnen. Sobald man drinnen ist läufts flüssig.
  • A very nice and interesting place. The Monkeys are all around and you can even feed them popcorn.
