  • As a family, we only stayed 'only' 2 hours, I have all seen/read. There are a variety of media. Audio, video, texts... and of course the objects, the ruins. Very detailed, you learn a lot about the history of the region, especially when "we're no here". There is a leaflet in french and most of the reviews are written in french and German. Note: the Museum is open on Sunday. Thanks for this effort. Suggestion for improvement: I had trouble with the layout of the Museum, the plan is difficult to understand, and it is not easy to visit in chronological order. Attention: with young children do not visit the ground floor right at the entrance: photos of drugs, "interviewed", people naked (I pass you the woman who shoot there where I think close-up...) It would merit a warning to not take sensitive souls (Fortunately that children watch only vaguely expos!)

  • The place is interesting to see but not very large. The Museum is specialized in the 20 th. century close to the entrance in one place and one can see the old walls of the middleage (16. and 17. thcen...  more »
  • I had to go to this great city on a business trip, and when I had a day to see some of the city, I went also to the Museum. Culture hurts Yes never :-)

  • Very nice museum. So much history! Very very nice customer service and you walk underground. When you get underground you will be blown away at the history that is sitting there in from of you. You have to see it for yourself! Definitely recommend visiting.
  • Very nice museum that tells the history of Saarland and his wars. It's an old castle and you can go in the dungeons and see the kasematten. An old weapon arsenal.
  • Particularly the excavations of the Casemates and the Red Tower are impressive.

  • Very nice Museum on the history of the Saarland. The image in the info is slightly iritierend because the entrance next to the right are part of the building. You bother halfway footwear bring because you can go in the vault and there the ground is uneven, it is worth itself but always because you and others get some entertaining short radio dramas.
