  • Was yesterday with my daughter in the calypso music. It was, as was to be expected, relatively full. What I had experienced in the so-called multi-function pools but has shocked me deeply. I sat on the edge of the "bubble benches" and played with my daughter. Suddenly a little boy to me jumped over into the water. He concluded by the momentum of the jump almost in the middle of the basin. When he landed there the panic in the face was him suddenly. He beat his arms around and gasped. I took Anna on the arm and went to the boy, took him under his arm and kept him afloat, brought him to the edge of the pool. He was totally resolved, could tell me but that he can swim and also don't know where his parents are. The supervisory authority, which stood throughout the basin did not respond at all. He rather was on the phone with the service telephone and took care of two ladies. When I came to him to inform him about the facts of the case, he reacted very succinctly. Response: "Ah.?" Ok. "EI where sin of then dei parents?" Mutatis mutandis. I left the boy but bad-feeling of supervision; but not without again strongly to the serious situation and to point out in my opinion, irresponsible misconduct by the parents. Moreover, that of the estimated, nobody reacts 20-25 people in the basin has, somehow no longer do I wonder.

  • The Calypso offers much experience for a lot of money. €25 for sauna and Spa per person is already properly. While a slide is not. It comes again with € 2.50 extra... We were primary to the sauna there. There are some saunas available. The hourly infusions are very good. High crowds spontaneously parallel performs an additional infusion in other sauna. In particular the warmed stones in the brewhouse has it all. You should not miss the. The number of beds is very well designed. The exterior is very nice with swimming pool and relaxation area in the block House. There are also numerous chairs to choose from. It's all very carefully. The food seems to be good. The staff is friendly and enforces a strict ban on cell phone. All in all a beautiful day in the Calypso.

  • The Calypso has mitlerweile a hard in Saarland, Germany. When it was opened it was practically unrivaled. Only the fun bath in Tholey was an alternative to the Calypso. Now there is, especially in the area of sauna, much more competition. All forward of course the Saarland Spa in Rilchingen. This newly built sauna that can not keep up with Calypso, but it has its merits. For example, the's is located in Saarbrücken. As the most German in the greater Saarbrücken, Saarlouis, Völklingen live, of course an advantage. It is also still a very solid sauna. You have the choice between 4 'normal' saunas, a steam bath, a sauna "Meditation room" and a grotto. There's an outdoor pool, and several relaxation rooms. Of course, there's also a restaurant service. In addition, it is possible the visit of sauna with a visit of the fun bath to combine. The Spa itself is very nice. Has several slides, a whirlpool, 2 whirlpools, a (not always) poolside bar and 2 outdoor pools. There's a swimming pool, restaurant and children areas. That loosens immensely as a sauna. The biggest advantage I see is the fact that long not so is overflow Calypso, especially on weekends, like the Saarland Spa. It offers significantly more quiet. There are also 1-2 negative points. So I think it's still incomprehensible that the hot tub was cancelled without substitution. That was a highlight between saunas for many. In addition, the water temperature of the outdoor pool at least 2 degrees was reduced in recent years. Sounds like not much, but noticeable. Overall, you can recommend the Calypso but without hesitation. Extra hint: goes before in the movies "Camera2" in Saarbrücken, Germany. On the back of the tickets there are Calypso a 2 for 1 voucher for BB´s currently (12/16).
