  • For art and architecture worth seeing, because it is a well preserved example of a religious gesamtkunstwerk of the beginning of the 20th century, in particular the interior decoration of the Church through the Beuron art school is impressive and quite unique. In recent years, the sisters have renovated gently and lovingly. The public rooms were informed of excellently crafted Inforraum adapted to the requirements of the present during the opening hours of the church about the history of the Abbey, the Benedictine way of life and the lives of the Saints Hildegard von Bingen. The monastery shop offers a large selection of Christian spiritual literature a good selection of novels, gift and children's books, in addition of course crosses and icons, a very wide range of organic food with the nutritional and health advice the Holy Hildegard in connection stand products from other monasteries and not to forget, the wines of the own winery, which gained significantly on quality in recent years and can try the instructions for a very specialized sister. Now there is also a monastery Cafe, inclusion operation, where are offered in self-service of delicious cakes and coffee and small dishes. The view from the Abbey of the Rheingau and the Rhenish-Hessian uplands is a single dream. My personal guess if the weather plays along, enjoy coffee and cake at the cafe, then a little but views of the countryside and then to the Vesper, who sing the sisters in Latin, it's like a little heaven on Earth.

  • Featured plant, fully maintained and with a location above Rüdesheim great offering very good info in the vineyards, with a very beautiful Abbey Church that invites to rest and reflection and, here you can find out everything you need to know and want to really. There's still the excellently equipped monastery shop, from souvenirs to own wine, we get lots of stuff, even the monastery Cafe is to strengthen, there's snacks, cakes, drinks and a menu of the day. A great overall offer and in any case I would classify this attraction as a must-have for all churches and food er lover.

  • The Abbey is not only beautifully situated on a hill surrounded with vineyards but is architecturally also particularly beautiful. You can't visit the Abbey, the Church and the corresponding shop. Vinotheque is open Monday to Saturday from 9 h 30 to 17 h. From here you can start a nice walk ... or enjoy the environment Ora et labora. ...
