  • Very nice guide by Höhlenforscher/innen. Information on Hermann's Cave, it goes over 3 floors upstairs and downstairs - it should be already physically fit. There is information about OLMS (incl. video recording, since it is rare), bats and other cave-dwellers. However you should not worry them hide from the group. Always wear met because form due to the speleothems pools of water on the roads themselves.

  • Consists of 2 caves which have to be paid separately. Chosen for the stalactite caves a little further at the exit of the village. Beautiful stalactite caves with a cute young spontaneous guide that a loved and the tour takes about one hour. Recently the atta höhle stalactite caves in the sauerland region visited, but this I found nicer and less commercial.

  • We were with American friends in the Herrmann cave. Unfortunately, there was no English audio guide for them. Other foreign tourists had to rely on the whispered translations by friends and acquaintances. Because we all are no simultaneous translation, this is quite a shame. Otherwise, the cave is interesting, particularly the Crystal Garden. It is a fine thing for €8 per person.

  • Nice but not highly interesting if you have seen active caves or undisturbed caves. Concrete floors throughout and many walls. No bats due to too many visitors. no photos allowed.
  • Cost 23 EUR for a family of 5, really cold(8 deg. C inside!). About 45 mins. Tour, it is a guided tour, but only in german.
  • Both caves are centrally located in the city of beet country, and are very easy to find thanks to good signs. There are enough parking spaces: you should go once through the village and check whether there are seats available on the caves. The large car parks are ca. 5 Min.Fussweg just outside. The ticket prices are okay. Photographing is suffer r not allowed. The guided tours take place all on the nose and take 50 minutes. At 8 degrees in the cave, one should wrap jacket and socks. Not far from the caves, there are snack/restaurant with beautiful Bodeblick. A beautiful excursion destination for young & old!

  • Today only three stars, because first do we thought we tried getting free. However, Baumann's Cave was the information from the Internet? And that too for a long time. Fortunately, the other of the two caves but had on and she could make up for a lot. The cave was very interesting for the whole family and we definitely come back yet to take the other cave. And then there's certainly the five stars.
