  • Something off the beaten track, but definitely worth the visit. 7.50 admission + one can invest respectively € 2 for parking and photo permission. Inside the gypsum formations bursting from the ceiling are impressive as well as the Lakes, no matter whether artificial or naturally caused. The leadership was well done, not really recommended for people with walking impairments, otherwise a must, if you are in the region.

  • The Frankenhausen is easily accessible by car, signs are everywhere in the area, as well as fee-based parking in front of the cave. Admission (€7.50 adults, € 21.) is ok, the cave should exist so far as possible... Photo permission's extra, not worth it but, because it is too dark in the cave to take pictures without Flash. Rather soft on picture postcards, which gives it at the cash register at lower prices than a photo permit... The cave is only part of a guided tour to visit, to customized clothing should be taken (temp. 9 ° C, even good shoes), also no dogs are allowed with pure and also disabled should consider well that... The guide was interesting and not boring, there is much to discover in the cave. Especially when high summer temperatures, the one-hour guided tour can be a boon... A highlight in the Kyffhäuser mountains someday!

  • The cave is a Sahi in the karst rocks in the plaster plates comes from the ceiling. Especially beautiful also the eyes of Alabaster. Something there is not much to see. The size and expansion is unique. A very entertaining and informative tour rounded off the picture. Absolutely worth seeing!

  • Somewhat disappointment. Not much to see, basically a long cave with uneven surfaces. No stalagmites or stalactites. Almost like walking in an abandoned railway tunnel. See the photos on their homepage and you have seen it all. For those interested in caves, I recommend the Eisriesenwelt in Austria. it's a real experience compared to this.
  • The cave is absolutely worth seeing. The guided tour of the cave is very interesting. The price of € 7.50 per person is perfectly alright. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is sufficiently available. The day park ticket costs € 2.00. The restaurant next door is, however, absolutely not recommended.

  • Who has been before in any cave for which it might be quite interesting, the all too much there cannot be seen. Here too you must grab again deep in the purse (€7.50) for one hour. In hell, 9 are I just recommend to bring a jacket. The price of €7.50 is clearly too high! P.s. extra shooting

  • Very interesting natural monument that you must look at in any case, if one is nearby. The guides are presented in groups very professionally, and with well-founded knowledge of a guide (female) and is certainly worth the price.
