  • It is the gateway to the city, the wall that surrounds it is beautiful, is a very nice place and part if you are arriving on a cruise ship is where they're going to leave the bus

  • Schrannenplatz, is a huge plaza, which is now located within the walls of Rothenburg, and is now a car park for cars after parking our car, just outside of the walls, we have agreed to the old town, after the old gate that leads to this big square. From here you can get walking in a few minutes to the Center, at the same time, great views of the wall. And this is also where there are stairs, allowing up and down the walls, to be able to cross it. Some nice and colorful building, make this square a little more attractive.

  • The Schrannenplatz housed a Jewish cemetery which has been filled in but previously times. The large barn was very important in the middle ages and a cattle market in the courtyard. Unfortunately, cars are around today only all over the place and a few tables of at a restaurant show how beautiful the place could be. For those interested in worth a visit otherwise rather continue the city wall along the Valley, there are many quiet places.
