  • Beautiful old church near the centre of the town, although it does not have all the windows and ceiling painting of other churches , there is real history.
  • Very beautiful church. Simple and with fine wooden carvings. Contains a very nice organ I've had the pleasure of hearing during a public concert.

  • St. Francis Church, is one of the churches, we have visited on our trip to Rothenburg, and I can say that it is one of which we liked most. This church, with a simple interior, but at the same time, beautiful, is one of the churches more ancient city and is located in the historical district, in particular, in Herrngasse. The Church of the Franciscans, also called Santa Maria, is enshrined in the year 1309. It has some beautiful stained-glass windows by the artist Johannes Schreiter and particularly worth seeing is the lettner, a typical architectural element of Germany, which was intended to separate the monks from the laity, in the temple. The impressive representation of the passion of Christ comes from the time the Church was built. He is currently in the works. The entrance is free.

  • A church steeped in history, whose Foundation dates back to 1285, interesting for the balcony decorated separating the part reserved to the Friars from that reserved instead for the people, where some traces of fresco, and readable for the beautiful tombs of which is ornamented.
