Here are many vintage Christmas decorations, cards, Nutcracker statues, carousels, executed in various techniques from a variety of materials. The Museum is open all year round visitor information in German and English. Pay visits, but there are family fare. The Museum has a shop decorations and Christmas ornaments. • Most people seems to write about the store, and not the museums within the store. The museum was very nice and talks about the development of Christmas from pre-christian till today (although not going deep enough over the Roman ancestor that also was the largest holiday in the Roman world pre Christianity). It talked a bit about different versions and how it have come together. I definitely think it was worth the time. Also gives a greater understanding to all parts of the store.
  • We enjoyed our visit, as the museum explains the evolution of the celebration of Christmas, especially of the Christmas tree and its ornaments. It has several trees decorated with beautiful handmade decorations dating back 100 years or more. Also a large variety of traditional handmade ornaments, many from private collections on loan to the museum. It is not boring if you are interested in the Christmas tradition. ****
  • If you love Xmas you will enjoy this place. You can buy Christmas decorations all year long
  • Overload of Christmas items. Very pretty even to just browse. Prices are high, but lots of multi lingual staff on hand who are eager to help. Gets flooded with tour boat bus loads.
  • A all-year-around Christmas shop! All kinds of Christmas decorations. There is also a Christmas museum.
