A good way to see Rhine Valley is from the Rhine river, taking advantage of one of the many companies that offer boat trips. Alternatively, the valley is perfect for a pleasant, scenic drive or bike ride. This area is packed with medieval castles and old churches. Visit the Burg Landeck, a ruined hill castle, for superb views that go as far as the Black Forest. People have cultivated vineyards in this area for centuries, and it is still the capital of the German wine industry. Visit some of the vineyards to sample some excellent wine.   • This is an amazing area to visit. We did it by River Cruise but It can be done by car. Take some time...don't rush it and it will reward you with views beyond description and experiences you won't get...  read more »
