  • Actually originated here not a usual Museum, rather describes the events just before the war at the Orginalobjekt 1945 impressively on hand of many documents. Only one such site in the bridgehead on a page, can give this special impression. Visit this collection is suitable not only for professionals, to classify these historical events here on the banks of the Rhine. Some exhibits are not in the best condition, but the place still shows a strong effect. In the summer, these events on the opposite side in the railway tunnel be brought to the performance.

  • I have several times visited this museum. Get an impression of what happened here historically in the second world war. Everything is shown at original site original images, texts and sketches. A visit is worthwhile in any case. If possible, you should however take part in a guided tour. The leaders are very good and bring one in March 1945 very vividly over the decisive days. Interesting are also the representations and reports to the prisoner camp "Golden mile", that in 1945 in Sinzig Remagen nearly 300,000 German prisoners "housed". For anyone who deals with German history, highly recommended.

  • We were impressed with the remains of the railway bridge at Remagen and we were still in the museum. Extremely well documented, lots of pictures and models, many remnants and memorabilia. Some photos I became really moved. We are happy that we have been there, just unforgettable.
