Discover the work of Jean (Hans) Arp, a founding member of the Dada movement, at Arp Museum, a museum housed inside a historic railway station that's just a short drive from the city. This 19th-century building, a classic example of early German railway architecture, long served as a cultural venue for artists from around Europe. Brahms, Schumann, and Liszt gave concerts inside, while G.B. Shaw staged several of his plays here. Long neglected after World War II, the building was listed for demolition before Johannes Wasmuth, a prominent art deal, brought it back to life in the 1960s. Take a guided tour to learn more about the museum's permanent exhibits of Arp's works, as well as the temporary displays of other notable artists from around the globe. • Stylishly restored station building in the art nouveau style, directly connected (and accessible by a glass elevator) with Hans ARP Museum. Alone, the architecture of this building complex is more than impressive (regardless of the respective exhibition). Who is currently the Henry Moore exhibition for this museum. A coffee on the station terrace looking beautifully over the Rhine round off the visit. Be sure to visit!

  • The Museum, particularly impresses with its unusual architecture. Old building has been carefully fitted with new elements in line. Here worth a visit also, if you are interested only on the edge of art.

  • Most striking is the surprising property. Situated on the right bank of the Rhine, via the stationspand you come across a beautiful museum inside. It is a wonderful mix of architecture and nature. Unique. The exhibition Moore/Arp is spacious.

  • Wonderful building with an impressive lift. The art is a bit of a mixed bag but should be something here for everybody.
  • Wonderfully located, modern Museum. Even with pushchair no problem. Great Exhibition and beautiful views of the Rhine and Siebengebirge.

  • A fantastic Museum with wonderful architecture. Even though you maybe can do nothing with the works of ARP himself, always a thematically different exhibitions worth. It is very nice that you take with you can also usually his camera into the interesting exhibitions.

  • A must-have. For every time and occasion. Much too bad to tell. Wonderful location with magnificent offer from the kitchen. Friendly professional service that respects wishes and turns. Visit.

  • A wonderful place, a beautiful Museum, great art by Hans Arp, and an atmospheric Café. The current exhibitions are sometimes quite weak.
