  • Nice Museum for children. It is located in a former monastery and has therefore a beautiful architecture. Through the special exhibitions worth a visit.

  • The City History Museum is located in the medieval monastery that provides the appropriate atmosphere. The collection of the museum recreates the history of the region starting from the Caveman, next to the days of the Roman Empire and medieval merchants and townspeople till the nineteenth century.

  • A cute little museum with a good variety of local archaeology. Went for the Romans, was surprised by the medieval stuff (including some tombstones in Arabic and Hebrew). Entry prices aren't expensive (€5 adult, €2.50 student) which makes up for the relative smallness. Overall a great little museum and worth a visit if you run out of things to do on a day trip!
  • Sehenswerte Ausstellung ueber Regensburg.
  • Small but nice. Significantly more space would be needed to adequately represent all these sections of the city of Regensburg. So, the Museum focuses on the early history. Anyone who wants to have more background knowledge about the old city without a city guide, should look in here once.
