  • Very good exhibition of Roman history from this area. That was the main reason for my visit. And I was pleasantly surprised. Well presented. It's only in German but you can rent English commentary. If...  more »

  • If you like to learn about history of regensburg, you should visit that place. You need max 40 minutes and after you can have a good coffee at the museum cafe.
  • A cute little museum with a good variety of local archaeology. Went for the Romans, was surprised by the medieval stuff (including some tombstones in Arabic and Hebrew). Entry prices aren't expensive (€5 adult, €2.50 student) which makes up for the relative smallness. Overall a great little museum and worth a visit if you run out of things to do on a day trip!
  • Was in the course of my schooling times there and it was always really nice. The size is super suitable for not necessarily Museum fanatics, because you can spend that much time there, however not perceived any course days is wrong until it is finally out. For shrink-wrapped Regensburger an interesting experience!

  • We were lucky to meet smotriteltnicu in this Museum, which held us tour of the first halls telling about Regensburg times of the Roman Empire. Very inspiring, straight felt history. By the way, she was talking and in Russian and German. And so all cards on exhibits at the German, be ready. On the upper floors of the more modern Exposition, is also very interesting. Just spent at the Museum about 1.5-2:00. The Museum is well worth a visit.
