  • Regensburg is full of historical landmarks; the Goliathhaus is one of them and hits the eye with a gigantic mural of Goliath. The Goliath building is medieval; the original of the mural is from the 16...  more »
  • This ancient bldg. is notable for the David & Goliath fresco on the front. Other than that, I'm not sure what else about it is available for a tourist to see inside.  more »
  • We walked by this building in Regensburg. We did not go inside and I am not even sure what the building is used for. The beauty is on the outside as there is this huge mural of David and Goliath paint...  more »

  • Thanks to the excellent state of preservation is hard almost believe this fresco has nearly 450 years. Thanks to the typical Renaissance district, gives a good idea of how it could be decorated the whole neighborhood at the time.

  • CIME-crowned Citadel, built around 1260 as the headquarters of the patrician family Thundorfer in early Gothic style. The building is named after the patron saint of errant theology students is provided on the facade with one to 1573 painting by the fight of David against Goliath. In the immediate vicinity of the Goliathhauses worth a look in the narrow alley market of wading in with the tree Castle Tower from about 1270 one of Regensburg towers can be seen.
