  • Small museum that traces the history of the famous games worldwide. For a brand as well known the Museum is really Gaunt, in small spaces, with very old equipment and all written and explained in German. You'd need a much bigger place and presentations, in various languages, more compelling and engaging. Shop small and certainly not cheap. To be upgraded in its entirety.

  • We have made holiday at Lake Constance in the summer holidays. Because the weather was fairly modest, we are in the Ravensburger Museum. In short, We loved it! Very much to the whole games tip to discover and Abteilung-for children up Toi simply super! We got the kids out even more from the Museum. Admission: "base map" including toilets and a "dining area" in the basement - was all in our modern and clean. The kids are still talking, but we live in talent there that is not just around the corner, we would otherwise year card already long ago ne...

  • The Museum is modern and well equipped. There is the classic audio guide tour for adults and a TipToi tour for the little ones and they still age staggered. On three floors you get to know well the world by Ravensburger. Quite interesting, but for children goes even more sure. There are a few stations to try out, but just for the smaller it will quickly uninteresting. It was very crowded on a rainy Sunday.

  • Awesome museum of board games, especially with children. On the last floor you can play many games and read their books.
  • We had a perfunctory greeting on arrival for this fairly expensive museum. EUR 24 for a family and EUR 3 each for audio guides. The museum is well presented and clean, providing a history of the Ravensburger company and the development of board games and children's books. The audio guide is, at times, more like a commentary on a commercial exhibition than a museum. Work was being carried out on a display on the 1st floor without apology or regard for visitor safety. The best part of the museum is the top floor where you can try out board games without time limit. The café is laughable - a few tables near vending machines; food is forbidden elsewhere. It was okay, but I wouldn't go again.
  • Great museum. You will learn about the company, and how Ravensburger products are developed, tested and marketed. Worth a visit.
  • OK for a couple of hours on a rainy day but quite expensive. Considering it's a toy museum, there is an awful lot of stuff in glass cases, which our kids sped past. Would expect more interactive ways of learning from a toy museum - many museums around the world with obviously smaller budgets have done better. We had read reviews of other English speaking reviewers and definitely agree that you need German language skills to get the most from this museum (adults in our group did). The kids soon tired of having to ask for translations if they wanted to know something... but it may have encouraged them to try harder with their language learning! There are some games in the games room in English, but it was busy when we visited and we had to search for them - however our kids enjoyed playing with them for almost an hour once we did find them. As Ravensburger games has international reach, it surprises us that they don't make the museum more accessible for foreigners. There is an English audioguide (they'd run out when we went) - but you have to pay extra for it... Which leads me on to... the cost. I know in Britain we're spoilt with free entry to world-class museums, but the tickets for Ravensburger Museum seem a bit pricey (we paid €24 for family 2 adults + 2 kids and €7.50 for an extra adult). As it's a giant advert for Ravensburger toys, perhaps it should be a bit cheaper? All in all, if you speak German and/or want to know about the history of this world-renowned company you're onto a winner. For the rest of us... It's somewhere to amuse the kids for a couple of hours if it rains.
  • Mostly for children (not a bad thing!), very hands on, quite small, interesting, but you've got to put on your childish sense of wonder to enjoy. A bit pricey, but still fun.
