  • In the spring, summer or fall worth a trip already in climatically to Radebeul sure more like in March still cool... Signposted from the s-Bahn Radebeul-East off main street. The "Museum" is more something for fans or parents with smaller children. For adults, the introduction movie (TV-reportage of recent) in the Villa of bear fat offers enlightening wallpapers. Overall a cool alternative to the sights of Dresden, but not a must.

  • The Villa of bear fat invites to stay with children. In this villa, the Indians of North America are presented as figures and obtained insights by trailing scenes of Indian life. The weekend regular tours take place, look up dates in the Internet on the detailed page.

  • I turned Alsooo, 52 years old and tall with Karl May books as adventure crime eats and on television, it was what gaaaaaanz special! Today, even their heroes, we / I have our youngster Karl may Winnetou-Old Shatterhand-Nscho Tschi etc. was because I had a Dresden visit ahead of me, I wanted to make a detour to Karl May, which is just around the corner! Very interesting, the type was definitely crazy, has he then ensures its neighbors incomprehensible, just built as a log cabin lodge with Indianerzeugt in his garden... The hot Villa bear fat... and his house before on the road he called nicely furnished villa Shatterhand... normal House at his time, nice to look at. It comes to his history, da ingenious writer... and children can have fun too!

  • Was my first place to visit on my first trip to Europe.
  • A small sized museum. Mainly for kids.
  • The Karl May Museum keeps and displays Native American scalps -- actual flesh and hair from humans. These sacred items must be returned to the Tribes immediately. This is a violation of Tribal rights and traditions. The museum has not yet returned these sacred remains, but international pressure is growing against the museum to comply with the wishes of the Tribes.
  • It was a little bit disappointed. My childhood memories have to expect more. But quite suitable for a little trip with family.

  • Great Museum unfortunately just in my opinion overpriced as regards admission, you can see only 2 houses and a small hotel grounds.
