  • The Villa is more for true Karl may fans. Who is not includes or has no children, is perhaps not quite as enthusiastic.

  • The Museum currently consists of two main areas. The Villa of bear fat is home to a very nice documentary about the culture of the Indians and goes beyond the United States. The presentation is very successful. The Villa Shatterhand Karl May be as a writer in the focus, and presents his last living and work spaces.

  • Read much by and about Karl May. But on the spot I made other interesting observations.

  • A small sized museum. Mainly for kids.
  • The Karl May Museum keeps and displays Native American scalps -- actual flesh and hair from humans. These sacred items must be returned to the Tribes immediately. This is a violation of Tribal rights and traditions. The museum has not yet returned these sacred remains, but international pressure is growing against the museum to comply with the wishes of the Tribes.
  • Very nice

  • Much about the history of the Indians, more so than about Karl May itself. The Skalpte are now no longer publicly issued. The photo costs unfortunately 2 euros extra permission.

  • Super interesting. As a fan's liked very much. Highlight the three guns.
