Walk through the shaded rows of more than 3,000 fruit trees at Potsdam's Sanssouci Park. Surrounding the beautiful Sanssouci Palace, the park features 287 hectares (700 acres) of landscaped lawns, Baroque flower gardens, monumental statues, and fountains. • Unfortunately tourist, many visitors. For a tour you stand in line. The park itself is free. Tip; walking at night after eating here by the park. Tasty sultry and quiet in summer.

  • The park boasts a wide, manicured grounds and various buildings. See, E.g. the Chinese tea house, a historic windmill (functional and in operation on the weekend to experience), the new Palace, and of course Castle are Sanssouci, which built by Frederick the great as a summer home for its guests. Warning - heated in winter not - on tour so dress warmly! The Park suggests the vineyard terraces, fountains, maze u.v.m. also in February in the summer their beauty.

  • Many still under construction or renovation. The park itself is very extensive and you should always take along a map.
