  • Magnificent view over all of Potsdam. The tickets are not cheap but this one supports the preservation of such sites. A must if visiting from all over the world to guest.

  • The summer palace towers over Potsdam. The climb is strenuous, but very nice drive up with your own car is not allowed, but with taxi. You should go to the towers, in Nice weather, you can see up to Berlin. The courtyard with pool and garden outside invites to romantic stay. Concerts take place in the summer, and it is a popular place to get married.

  • Palace Belvedere is located in the northern part of the Neuer Garten at the top of the Pfingstberg Hill. It was commissioned by Friedrich Wilhelm IV and is only a part of the originally more extensive construction project. The twin-towered building is in Italian Renaissance architecture, and it was built between 1847 and 1863 with an interruption from 1852 to 1860. After the King's sketches architects Ludwig Persius stood, Friedrich August Stüler and Ludwig Ferdinand Hessian for the preparation of the detailed plans. The building fell into disrepair, but was repaired between 1988 and 2005 by a group of local residents. Belvedere is open to visitors today.

  • Great location with fantastic views. Also the environment is well maintained, only the ride with the bike is up somewhat exhausting.
