  • We were with her husband recently, in November, in Porta Westfalica. beautiful panorama from the top. Now they are building a restaurant on the lower level-will be a beautiful view while drinking coffee, now a little unfortunately interfere with cranes and cranes. I recommend you come in next year, as the restaurant is already a constant:)

  • Visit this place, it is worth! Many half way on foot (10 minutes), as at the time of car repairs were not allowed. Being next to the monument, the magnificent landscape of the town of Minden and its okrestnnosti. Next to the monument there are trails, passing through the forest. Great place for a stroll.

  • A great place for a break and UN Wilhelm a greeting there to let :-) Well, from here, you can start a hike through the Wiehen Hills. Not far away is the Moltketurm and the Castle also not.

  • View from here is great, the monument itself doesnt do much for me. Great area for motorcycle tours too.
  • We were there at the time of the conversion. The parking lot was for the A..., but this was likely due to the ruthless fellow citizens. The rising is currently too narrow, you inevitably jostle to himself. The Outlook is however breathtaking and absolutely recommended! Go!

  • Always a trip worth and that in almost any weather. In good weather, you have a very good wide view. You can take up the car almost up to the monument, the last 250 meters you must go on foot also suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. The Kaiser Wilhelm, expect a forest trail to the whey Tower (approx. 1, 2 km) or to the Wittekind Castle (1.8 km). In good weather, very much is going on, there will be ever parked on the road. The way up is not illuminated, so in the dark better a flashlight to take.
